The money hasn’t all gone into the protocol. On-chain protocol fees are only 0.0001%; what users mainly pay are the solver price spread and channel fees. In the protocol, the actual amount kept over the last 30 days is about 1.97 million dollars—around a quarter. On Dune, SwapKit alone accounts for about 39.4 million dollars in fees.
The revenue is real, and the price increase has already run ahead. The flow is in the hands of external aggregators, and the price has already gone through another cycle; chasing it now is basically taking the bag for the people ahead of you.
