Near key levels, I usually look at three things:
① Hold steady: if during the day it touches the level but doesn’t count, only a close above 0.04 is considered a valid breakout;
② Retest: can it hold up when it pulls back to the 0.04 area? If it can hold, then it counts as a transition;
③ Volume: when the breakout happens, is volume expanding? Breakouts on lower volume are more likely to be pulled back.
