Bitcoin is about to break out of its range and make a major move. It is now approaching the bottom of the original range, around 82,000.
Bitcoin has rallied from around 82,000 several times before, making it a potential launch point where buyers may step in. It has also repeatedly found a floor there, so the market generally views this level as support.
As shown in chart two, there are also over 100 million in long positions near 82,000 that could be liquidated. There’s a good chance the market will wipe out those longs as short positions build up.
82,000 is a key support level in the battle between bulls and bears. If Bitcoin reaches this area and shows a high-volume hold, with a long lower wick that quickly recovers, that would confirm 82,000 as a valid level and could offer an opportunity to buy the dip and go long.
