【This AVAX pullback is different—let’s talk about the increased trading volume】
Yesterday someone in the group asked me whether AVAX can still be held. I looked at the chart and said, “Let’s watch first.”
Why didn’t I say “go for it” or “sell out”?
Because I noticed a signal—an abnormal spike in trading volume, exceeding 5% of the market cap. This isn’t something to brush off. Either the smart money/large holders are distributing (selling off), or big capital is accumulating. In either case, it means big volatility in the short term.
And look at the price: the support at 10.33 almost didn’t hold today.
I’ve seen this kind of script back in 2017. When the support breaks, it’s not a slow grind down—it turns into a direct waterfall.
So I keep my position size light, not because I’m bearish, but because I’m afraid of messing around and getting buried.
Some people say I’m scared. “It’s already down 93%—what are you afraid of?”
The person saying that probably hasn’t experienced the drop from the 2021 highs. AVAX has gone from 146 to the current 11. It looks cheap at the dozen-dollar level, but the basement is still underneath the floor. I’m watching the chart with that kind of muscle memory.
That said, there’s another possibility this time for the volume spike—someone could be quietly building a position. Big money can’t buy when everyone is going crazy. They buy when people are panicking.
So my mindset right now is: just watch the show. Even though you might feel itchy to trade, this time I really didn’t jump in.
What about you? What’s your mindset now? For this AVAX move, are you brave enough to act? Are you feeling tempted to trade?
