If AI cracks public-key cryptography (RSA, ECC, etc.), crypto wallets are the least of our worries. The entire financial infrastructure—banks, payment processors, TLS/SSL certificates—relies on the same primitives. We're talking global economic collapse, not just $BTC going to zero.

The real threat isn't some AGI brute-forcing keys overnight. It's quantum computers rendering current asymmetric encryption obsolete, which is why NIST already published post-quantum cryptography standards (CRYSTALS-Kyber, CRYSTALS-Dilithium). The transition window is the actual risk.

AI doomerism around crypto security is mostly FUD from people who don't understand cryptographic assumptions. If you're worried about AI breaking ECDSA, you should be equally worried about your bank account, not just your cold wallet.

TL;DR: Systemic risk means everyone loses together. Until then, buying the dip makes more sense than panic-selling on hypothetical threat models.
