In 3 hours, OI rose from 11.1 million to 14.3 million (+29%). Whales’ long/short ratio dropped from 1.99 to 1.59, making it look like they were getting out—then they turned around and added back, pushing it to 1.94.
Even after a 21% rise, longs still account for 65%. Now that the shakeout is over, it’s time to keep going.
