TWO TRADERS. ONE LESSON. — EP17

GREEN DOESN'T MEAN EXPENSIVE.

RED DOESN'T MEAN CHEAP.

Rui: — Dário, look at the market! Everything's falling!

Dário: — And what are you thinking of doing?

Rui: — Buying, of course! It's cheap now!

Dário looks at the chart and replies:

— Cheap compared to what?

Rui falls silent.

Dário continues:

— The fact that the price has fallen doesn't mean it has hit the bottom.

— It may be in a support zone and bounce…

— But it could also break through that support and fall even further.

Rui: — So how do I know if it's an opportunity?

Dário: — You can't know for certain.

— You observe price behavior.

— You look for support. — You look for a reaction. — You observe volume. — You assess the risk.

— And only then do you decide whether that drop created an opportunity or just another stage of the correction.

Rui: — So buying just because it turned red is dangerous?

Dário: — Very.

— In the same way, selling just because it turned green can also be a mistake.

LESSON OF THE DAY:

A drop is not a buy order.
A rise is not a sell order.

The price may be lower…

but that doesn't automatically mean it's cheap.

A disciplined trader doesn't try to catch a falling knife.

They wait for the market to show where buyers are stepping in.

In $BTC , $SUI or any other asset:

Don't buy the drop.
Analyze the opportunity the drop may be creating.

Because in the market:

A LOWER PRICE DOESN'T MEAN A CHEAP PRICE.

Strategy beats emotion.
