BlockBeats reported on October 8 that BTC has large buy orders stacked below the current price, but some of those support zones overlap heavily with clusters of long liquidations. According to BlockBeats On-chain Detection, once potential forced-selling pressure is included, areas that initially appear buy-dominant may flip into net selling zones.
BTC was trading at $83,066, and the analysis compared nearby key price levels below spot using limit orders, conditional orders, and liquidation risk from major Hyperliquid accounts.
In the $81,500 to $82,200 range, buy orders totaled about $55.166 million. After accounting for liquidation-related selling, the zone could become a net sell area of about $23.918 million, despite strong initial demand.
In the $81,000 to $81,500 range, buy plans totaled about $61.771 million, offset by exit orders and remaining liquidation risk for a net buy of about $21.301 million. The main support came from a $50 million add-long order at $81,234, which accounted for most of the buying interest in that band.
If that order were canceled, the same range would likely shift from net buying to a net sell position of about $28.7 million.
In the $80,000 to $81,000 range, buy plans of about $38.067 million were outweighed by exit orders and potential liquidation selling, leaving the zone with a net sell of about $33.271 million. A stop-loss sell order of about $16 million at $80,000 was identified as the main active exit order in that band.
