I want to accumulate value coins and hold them through the next bull market. What should I choose if I want to play it safe?

I went through the top 50 tokens by market cap and found that very few projects genuinely have deflationary tokenomics.

#BTC was created to counter excessive issuance, but most so-called value coins are still increasing their supply or unlocking tokens, relying on new capital to absorb early investors’ holdings.

Excluding stablecoins, the only ones with basically healthy supply structures are BTC, ETH, and BNB. The rest are hard to make a case for 🤣

#BNB stands out in particular: regular quarterly burns steadily reduce its supply, with a target of cutting it from 200 million tokens to 100 million. Some of the gas fees on BNB Chain are also burned.

And these burns aren’t just for the sake of deflation. Trading fees, Launchpool, on-chain gas, and ecosystem apps all drive real demand, creating a virtuous cycle: “platform growth → increased usage → token burns.”

#SOL , #DOGE , LINK, and HYPE still have protocol emissions or future unlocks. #XRP has a fixed total supply, but ongoing custody-related releases still create selling pressure from circulating tokens.

Looking only at the top 20 by market cap, the assets that combine low inflation, real demand, high liquidity, and a mature ecosystem are the ones I’m most bullish on for the long term: BTC, ETH, and BNB.

BTC’s strength is that its supply rules can’t be changed; ETH’s lies in its ecosystem value; and BNB combines real-world use cases with ongoing deflation.

Deflation doesn’t guarantee a rising token price. But projects with expanding ecosystems and steadily shrinking token supplies won’t keep asking long-term investors to absorb dilution from new issuance and unlocks.

That’s something many value coins could learn from BNB.
