There are two scenarios to consider here, and the answers are completely different.
Scenario 1: Reposting your own tweets. That’s fine—Jeni Jun does it all the time. My X account and Binance Square sync automatically via API, so there’s no problem with syncing content that’s already mine.
But even if it’s your own content, don’t repost it word for word. Many posts on Twitter are written for longtime followers, with the assumption that everyone knows the context and what happened before. On Binance Square, many readers are traders who have just opened the app and haven’t seen your earlier posts, so they won’t understand if you simply copy them over.
Before syncing, Jeni Jun usually makes three changes: adds a line of background at the beginning so people who haven’t seen the earlier posts can follow along; removes group links and external links from Twitter; and adds the relevant token tag at the end. It takes less than two minutes to make those changes and post.
Case 2: Reposting someone else’s tweet. Not allowed! The Square Community Guidelines are very clear: copying or reposting someone else’s content without permission infringes intellectual property rights and is explicitly listed as a violation.

What happens if you violate the rules? This is considered a general violation, and penalties are escalated in stages: First offense: warning. Second offense: warning plus reduced visibility. Third offense: a 3-day posting ban. More than three offenses: combined restrictions on posting, commenting, and visibility. Serious cases may be treated as serious violations.
If you think you’ve been wrongly penalized, you can appeal to Binance Customer Support within 3 business days.
And the official guidelines say that Binance AI may be involved in content moderation. Jieni Jun once posted about OpenUSD, and the system automatically flagged a discrepancy in the stated figures and provided a whole list of sources. If it can catch discrepancies like that, do you really think you can get away with reposting something word for word?

What if I really like someone else’s opinion and want to share it?
1. Retell it in your own words and add your own take: Do you agree or disagree, and how does it affect your position?
2. Short quotes are fine, as long as you cite the source. To repost an entire passage or someone else’s image, you need to get permission first. It’s best to use Square’s built-in quote feature.
3. Ideally, add something that wasn’t in the original post, such as the latest price or your own hands-on experience.
4. Use Square’s built-in quote feature. When you see a great post on Square, quote and repost it directly, adding your own comments. The original author will be able to see it, and readers can click through to the original post. It’s the cleanest way to share.
5. You can also share opinions from X—the guidelines allow X posts. But make it absolutely clear to readers who said it, and add your own perspective. Don’t pass off someone else’s original words as your own.
One more thing many people don’t know: Even if you aren’t penalized, low-quality content obtained by reposting won’t earn you anything through Content Mining. The official guidelines state that low-quality and spam content is not eligible for rebates.
Also, when syncing your own tweets, remember to remove any external group links from them. I’ll go into more detail about this in the next article.
