At 13:00 ET on October 7 (01:00 on October 8 in UTC+8), Polygon Labs announced that its Open Money Stack (OMS) now supports the TRON network, allowing fintech, remittance, and payment platforms to connect bank funds to the world’s largest circulating USDT (TRC-20) network through a single integration. The company said that more than $94 billion worth of USDT is in circulation on TRON, with cumulative transfers exceeding $30 trillion; as of September 21, Polygon-related payment processing volume had exceeded $3 trillion.
OMS’s integration with TRON offers three capabilities: Polygon Ramps enables fiat on- and off-ramps under money transmission licenses covering 48 U.S. states; businesses can create and manage TRON wallets through the same interface; and a single-transaction flow routes USDT between TRON and supported EVM networks, including Polygon Chain. The company said this is the first phase of TRON support.
In the markets, as of 16:58 on October 8 (UTC+8), $TRX was trading at around $0.3358 on Binance spot, up approximately 0.87% over 24 hours; $POL was around $0.1015, down approximately 1.0% over 24 hours; and BTC was around $82,855, down approximately 1.3% over 24 hours.
