XRP spot ETFs hold $1.7 billion, but inflows have suddenly hit the brakes!
The institutional story around XRP is still unfolding, but one change is worth noting:
Money is still coming in, just noticeably more slowly.
As of October 6, the five U.S. spot XRP ETFs held around $1.7 billion in assets, equivalent to approximately 1.13 billion XRP.
But over the past week:
👉 Net inflows totaled just around $3.9 million
👉 Net inflows over the past month were around $112 million
👉 Daily net inflows were around $3.14 million
In other words, the ETFs have already built up substantial holdings, but the pace of new inflows has cooled significantly.
More interestingly, investors aren't pulling out altogether.
On October 6, Bitwise's product saw inflows of around $11 million, while Franklin and Canary saw outflows of around $4.1 million and $3.3 million, respectively.
So the situation now looks more like this:
Institutions are still allocating to XRP, but their appetite for chasing prices higher is starting to fade.
What really matters to watch next isn't the $1.7 billion figure itself.
It's whether:
Weekly inflows into XRP ETFs can pick up speed again.
