And it’s not just AI—European security agencies are also losing sleep over fears that quantum computers could soon make security layers child’s play.
What should developers and traders do to protect their money?
Developers: Put less trust in old algorithms. Vitalik recommends prioritizing hash-based protocols and limiting the exposure of wallet signatures on public networks.
Traders: Don’t panic and switch wallets left and right just yet! But if you’re holding a large amount of assets, split them up and store them at wallet addresses that have never made a transaction, or use off-chain multi-signature wallets to hide signature trails from AI.
