Sharing my honest reaction: I just saw the funding rate for $ERA : -0.166%. Shorts are paying, which works out to an annualized rate of about 362.4%.
A negative funding rate means everyone is short, but when traders are too one-sided, they can easily get caught on the wrong side of a reversal. I’ll be especially cautious about a bounce.
Do you use funding rates as a reference?
