Don’t get fooled by this sharp gold rebound and chase longs! Sister Dun is still bearish!
It hit 4080 last night, then surged back to 4140 in one go today. Are a lot of people thinking the drop is over and a big rally is coming?
Pay attention! This is very likely just a recovery after the sharp sell-off!
Ever since falling from 4180, each high has been lower than the last, and this rally hasn’t even managed to hold above 4150!
Now look at the macro picture: the U.S. dollar is still near an 18-month high, and Treasury yields remain elevated. Today’s rebound is just an illusion caused by the dollar taking a brief breather.
As long as 4150 hasn’t been decisively reclaimed, the downtrend structure remains intact!
If 4100 fails to hold, gold will have to revisit last night’s low!
