Daimler Truck said on October 8 that third-quarter group vehicle sales rose 26% year over year to 91,260 units from 72,277 a year earlier. According to Sina Finance, North American sales jumped 51% to 45,629 units, while sales of battery-electric trucks and buses fell 28% to 1,207 units.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks, including the BharatBenz brand, sold 40,362 units in the quarter, up 13% from 35,818 a year earlier. Daimler buses sold 5,394 Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses, down 16% from 6,443 units.

For the first nine months of 2026, group sales rose 8% to 246,816 units from 228,642 a year earlier. Bus sales fell 16% to 16,498 units, and battery-electric truck and bus sales declined 2% to 3,354 units.

The company said the figures cover continuing operations only. Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation was merged into ARCHION on April 1, 2026, and is no longer included in the statistics.
