Large capital movements are generally interpreted in three ways:
① Long-term: quarterly allocations, with little focus on short-term price movements;
② Rebalancing: adjusting allocations, which doesn’t necessarily signal a bullish outlook;
③ Arbitrage: short-term trading, with funds moving in and out quickly.
This move isn’t necessarily bearish; it could simply be the second scenario. We’ll have to see whether similar moves follow.
