#Gold prices edged higher today, Thursday, after touching a two-month low in the previous session, as markets await greater clarity on the path the Federal Reserve (the U.S. central bank) will take on interest rates.
🔸 Spot gold rose 0.4% to $4,127.40 an ounce by 0101 GMT. Prices touched their lowest level since August 5 on Wednesday, after a stronger dollar and higher U.S. Treasury yields weighed on the market.
🔸 U.S. gold futures for December delivery rose 0.3% to $4,150.60.
🔸 Among other precious metals, spot silver rose 0.4% to $60.39, platinum gained 1.4% to $1,653.88, and palladium rose 1.4% to $1,141.00.
