Honestly, I usually take a quick look at data like the long/short ratio. Right now, $ETH large traders' positions are at 1.60 (61.5% long / 38.5% short).
But I never trade based on it alone. It's more like a thermometer: it tells you whether it's cold right now, but not what you should wear.
