LINK just got an AI boost, yet its price fell 4.6%—who’s selling?

On October 7, Chainlink unveiled a preview of its AI agent data solution, further advancing its cross-chain infrastructure narrative.

But Binance LINK perpetuals data isn’t cooperating:

Price: $13.29, down 4.63% over 24 hours; OI down 4.65%; funding rate still positive.

Good news arrives, the price falls, and open interest declines in tandem. What’s more concerning is that capital may be exiting, rather than bulls having taken control of the market.

Bias: Bearish on the rebound; wait for a signal.

① If the rebound is rejected at 13.68–13.81, and the 15-minute volume ratio is ≥1.5 while 1-hour OI recovers, watch for confirmation of new short positions.

② If price breaks below 13.25 and fails to reclaim it for two consecutive 15-minute candles, watch the 13.03 support level.

③ A high-volume break above 13.81 invalidates the short-term bearish outlook.

News can attract attention, but sustained gains still require real money.
