#PONS The biggest problem right now isn’t falling revenue or the fading MEME rally—it’s that market sentiment is overwhelmingly bullish, with too many people expecting prices to rise.

Although plenty of people have complained since the token price fell, most are still waiting for a chance to buy the dip. Token burns are just part of the market narrative; if anyone really wants to push the price up, it ultimately comes down to major players and their capital.

Whales won’t lift retail investors for free. Unless they’ve finished shaking out weak hands, the price probably won’t rise in the short term—and they might even abandon the project altogether. If a rally does eventually take shape, it will most likely happen only after a prolonged period of sideways trading and accumulation, when a new major player takes over.

Right now, whether it’s me or most other people, we’re all watching for a chance to buy the dip at 0.3 or 0.2. Put yourself in the major players’ shoes: they’re not going to let so many people pick up tokens cheaply, then spend money helping everyone break even. For PONS, overwhelming bullish consensus and hype are both bearish signals. A moderate washout driven by fear is what could set the rally in motion.

I’m prepared to hold at low levels for the long term, but I’ll also cut my losses decisively if I need to. My average entry price is 0.66, and the value has already been cut in half. That’s on me—I misjudged things and entered at the peak of market hype, becoming exit liquidity for early whales and major players.

The Rob blockchain has plenty of potential, but PONS is just one project in its ecosystem and may not rise along with it. Many once hugely hyped crypto projects have ultimately failed to stand the test of time.

I take back what I said earlier about buying the dip. Whether I enter again later is up to chance. Altcoins are inherently high-risk bets, so you should only participate with a small amount of spare money you can afford to lose. Never go all in.

Many opportunities in trading look like sure wins, but things often turn out the opposite way. Most of my big past losses came from falling into that mindset. But this time I didn’t go all in with a large position, so I’m not at risk of losing everything.
