Crypto market sectors fell broadly on October 8, with the RWA sector leading losses at 6.73% over 24 hours. According to Odaily, Sky (SKY) dropped 9.85% and Ondo Finance (ONDO) fell 3.61%.

Bitcoin (BTC) fell 2.41% and briefly dropped below $83,000 during the session, while Ethereum (ETH) declined 3.86% and slipped below $2,600. Other sectors also weakened, including CeFi, which fell 1.05%, with Cronos (CRO) down 4.56%; DeFi, down 3.09%, with Morpho Token (MORPHO) falling 4.46%; Layer2, down 3.33%, with ImmutableX (IMX) down 4.78%; PayFi, down 3.58%, with Telcoin (TEL) down 4.61%; and Meme, down 3.61%, with Cash Cat (CASHCAT) down 7.65%.

Layer1 fell 1.70%, although NEAR Protocol (NEAR) rose 5.40%. The crypto sector indices tracking historical performance showed ssiRWA down 6.42%, ssiDePIN down 5.84%, and ssiSocialFi down 4.79%.
