AI hardware company NOOKLAB raises hundreds of millions of yuan, with valuation nearing $100 million
According to Leiphone.com’s WhaleSight, AI hardware company NOOKLAB has completed several funding rounds, with investors including Sequoia China and Linear Capital. The total funding raised amounts to several hundred million yuan, and the company is now valued at nearly $100 million. Two of the rounds were completed early this year. NOOKLAB founder Raymond was born in 1996 and has worked at OPPO, OnePlus, Anker, and ByteDance, where he was responsible for second-generation AI glasses on the Ocean team. The company’s first product, Moonphase Flip, weighs 54 grams and attaches magnetically to the back of a phone via MagSafe. The company describes it as a low-distraction, wearable AI screen, primarily targeting overseas markets. The team currently has around 30 people.
