Texas oil falls after agreement to prioritize the release of diesel reserves!!
The price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell 1.3% to US$88.28 a barrel after the countries of the International Energy Agency (A /I /E) agreed to prioritize the release of diesel reserves. U.S. oil futures contracts for November fell by US$1.16. The A /I /E is seeking to speed up the release of oil and diesel reserves as soon as possible due to shortages in the markets.
So far, 325 million barrels have been released, and another 100 million are expected. Iran is losing control of the Strait of Hormuz, affecting the flow of oil.
