Nvidia opened preorders for the RTX Spark on October 8, 2026, and also introduced a preview version of NVIDIA DGX Station for Windows, its first desktop AI supercomputer built for Windows enterprise desktops. According to ChainCatcher, the products were announced alongside a collaboration plan between Nvidia and Microsoft to optimize hardware and software so AI agents can run natively on Windows PCs.
At a Microsoft event in San Francisco on Wednesday, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said the companies will work together on the effort. Huang said Nvidia was founded on the Windows ecosystem and that the AI agent era has now arrived on the Windows platform.
