Evernorth originally planned to begin trading on Nasdaq under the ticker $XRPN on October 8, but has now pushed the date back to October 12. The company cited administrative delays and said it does not expect this to affect the completion of the merger. Closing is currently scheduled for October 9.
I don’t think this news is particularly bearish in itself. What’s really worth watching is how the market values $XRPN after it lists on October 12. After all, the company expects to hold around 473 million $XRP , so this will also be a public test of how the traditional stock market values the “XRP treasury model.”
A delay of a few days isn’t that important. The real show begins with the stock’s performance after listing.
