Circle announced a partnership with SAP-backed financial services company Tereina to integrate its USDC and EURC stablecoins into enterprise payment workflows. According to ChainCatcher, companies using SAP financial software will be able to send and receive USDC and EURC directly within the applications they already use to manage payments.

USDC will be used as the preferred stablecoin for dollar-denominated transactions, while EURC will be used for euro-denominated payments. Tereina provides payment infrastructure that can be embedded into enterprise software, allowing companies to complete payments without switching to a separate financial platform.

The two companies said they plan to test the stablecoin integration with customers over the coming months across global payments and treasury management. The announcement said SAP's ecosystem accounts for 84% of global commercial activity, which could give the integration broad enterprise reach.

The partnership comes less than a month after Circle launched Arc mainnet, its Layer 1 blockchain focused on stablecoin payments and financial markets. Arc uses USDC to pay transaction fees and supports more than 20 fiat-backed stablecoins, including USDC and EURC.
