Lightspark has released a dotMoney prototype that lets users send test funds by sharing links, .money files, or directly between nearby iPhones. According to Odaily, the files can be sent through AirDrop, instant messaging apps, or stored on a USB drive, while funds move between wallets through Spark.

Each file can be claimed only once, so copying or forwarding it does not create duplicate funds. The sender can also cancel payments that have not been claimed. The prototype currently uses test funds with no monetary value, and Lightspark is also testing bank, Cash App, and Lightning withdrawals through Grid.
