Pro-Palestinian groups including Within Our Lifetime and National Students for Justice in Palestine are holding a "Resistance Rally" at New York City Hall and staging walkouts at Columbia University on the third anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attacks that killed over 1,200 people.
The demonstrations come as federal authorities announced they foiled an ISIS-linked plot targeting a Minnesota shopping mall. The Justice Department made the announcement today.
Separately, aviation safety officials are investigating an incident where a commercial flight dropped 14,000 feet, which some are characterizing as a potential hijacking attempt.
Conservative commentator Laura Loomer will address these developments on her show tonight at 9 PM EST, streaming on X and Rumble. She plans to discuss what she views as inadequate Democratic Party responses to pro-Hamas activism and broader national security concerns related to Islamic extremism.
