Today crypto bled because of oil, not because of crypto.
Iran's fresh tanker attacks in the Strait of Hormuz pushed Brent past $101 a barrel and the 10-year Treasury yield back above 5.3%. The result: about $550 million in leveraged crypto bets wiped out in 24 hours (CoinGlass), BTC slicing under $84,000, ETH dropping nearly 4% to $2,590, SOL falling over 3%.
Here's what I see: LVRG Research's Dan Khus called it "a leverage flush instead of a downward trend" — forced selling from overcrowded longs, not investors giving up. The next test is simple: if ETH reclaims $2,600 fast, the flush theory wins. If not, sellers are in control.
Flush or trend — which side are you on?
