【Market Update】Ethereum Foundation researcher Justin Drake urged the crypto industry to plan ahead for cryptographic risks posed by advances in quantum computing and AI, and to enter so-called “bunker mode.” He advised users to migrate their crypto assets in an orderly manner to new addresses, keeping their public keys hidden behind hashes—because once an address has signed a transaction, its public key may be exposed. He stressed that users should not transfer assets in a panic, as rushing could do more harm than good, and said this was only his personal recommendation, not a claim that existing cryptographic systems have been compromised. Drake noted that the $ETH official roadmap is already moving toward quantum-resistant hash cryptography. He also said that, in a worst-case scenario, ECDSA could be compromised in “months, not years.” #以太坊 #QuantumSecurity (Source: TheBlock)
