In the past few days of futures trading, rhythm matters.
Before price speaks, keep leverage quiet.
Futures only care about three sets of numbers. Everything else is noise.
1. BTC 83610, 24h range 82787-85814, change -2.39%.
2. BTC open interest notional: 7.98 billion USD, 24h -2.93%
3. Account-wide long/short ratio: 1.67
My take: The funding rate is near zero at 0.0010%, and the long/short ratio is 1.67. Leverage hasn't picked a side. If it hasn't picked a side, don't use high leverage to pick one for it.
Execution range (based on current price ± structure, not an old chart):
- Momentum zone: only consider chasing after price gets above 84,279; without a hold above it, it's a false breakout
- Buy the pullback: 82,607-83,108; don't buy if support fails
- No-trade zone: if the 1h candle closes below 82,105, skip this trade
My position: I don't try to catch the first drop. Until the decline is accompanied by a drop in open interest, buying on the way down is just catching a falling knife.
