ETH recovered 18.46 USDT from the low of 2552.59 between 21:00 and 22:00 to the 24:00 close of 2571.05. Price moved away from the low, but hourly trading volume during this recovery declined consecutively: 15998.64, 6384.18, and 4256.39 ETH.

These are the native 1H candles for October 7, 21:00–22:00, 22:00–23:00, and 23:00–24:00, respectively. The final hour’s volume was 73.4% lower than the first hour’s; although the 23:00–24:00 close was above the previous hour’s high of 2570.64, it was higher by only 0.41 USDT. This looks more like a recovery from a low, with hourly participation not yet restored.

18.46 is the distance from the low to the close across three hours, not the gain on the final candle; 73.4% compares the independent first and last 1H candles, not the total change over three hours. Trading volume is also not the same as net buying.

If the hour closes above 2576.99 between 00:00 and 01:00 on October 8, with volume of at least 6384.18 ETH, that would confirm an upward extension of the recovery and a return to the previous higher level of participation; if the hour closes below the final candle’s low of 2558.87, the judgment that the final hour was recovering would be invalidated. The 00:00–01:00 candle has not closed yet.

I’ll wait until 01:00 to see whether volume returns. If it closes above 2576.99 but volume is still below 4256.39 ETH, would you consider that a continuation of the recovery, or would you still require participation to recover?
