🌙 BTC NIGHT SETUP — SELL-OFF OR LIQUIDITY SWEEP?

Ahead of the evening session on October 7, 2026, Bitcoin dropped sharply from the $87K area and is now trading around $83.8K–$84K. The pressure coincides with rising Treasury yields, the US dollar, and oil prices, weighing on risk assets.

What’s interesting: BTC hasn’t completely lost its daily structure. The price is still above the EMA20 around $83.1K and the EMA50 around $79.5K, while the daily RSI is around 55—not oversold.

📍 LEVELS I’M WATCHING

🔴 Resistance: $86.2K–$87.4K
🟡 Pivot/reclaim: $84.9K–$85.8K
🟢 Support: $83.0K–$83.8K
🟢 Major support: $82.5K

Recent session volume has also increased significantly, while the intraday MACD still shows bearish pressure.

🟢 BULLISH SCENARIO

If BTC sweeps liquidity at $82.5K–$83K, then quickly reclaims $84K–$85K with rising buyer volume:

Entry: $83.5K–$84.8K after confirmation
TP1: $86.2K
TP2: $87.4K
TP3: $90K
Invalidation: strong close below $82.5K

🔻 BEARISH SCENARIO

If BTC rebounds to $85K–$86.2K but fails to reclaim the level and gets rejected as seller volume picks up again:

Entry: $85K–$86K after rejection
TP1: $83K
TP2: $80K–$81K
Invalidation: breakout & hold above $87.4K

⚠️ The key tonight isn’t guessing the bottom.

I want to see:

Sweep $82.5K → reclaim → volume expansion → confirmation.

If $82.5K holds, this sell-off could still turn into a liquidity grab before BTC tries to climb back to $87K.

But if $82.5K breaks and is accepted as new resistance, a retest of $80K becomes much more likely.

What do you think—is BTC forming a bottom tonight through a liquidity sweep, or will $82.5K break and open the way to $80K? 👀
