🐋 The biggest Ether “whale” has hit the brakes

Imagine one person buying Ether every week for a year and a half. No weekends off, no vacation. That’s BitMine, Tom Lee’s company.

The result: they now hold around 6 million ETH, nearly 5% of all the Ether in the world. One company owns one in every 20 coins.

At a conference in Singapore, Lee announced: “That’s it. 5% and stop. That’s a hard cap.” They have roughly 100,000 ETH left to buy to reach their target.

Then he said a line that spread across social media: “We’re done accumulating ahead of a 25x move.”

Here’s what’s important to understand:

🔸 He isn’t saying Ether will be worth 25 times more. He explained that “25x” is a scenario for BitMine shareholders, not a price target for ETH.

🔸 The buyer who was taking coins off the market every week will soon disappear. The market noticed: Ether fell by roughly 5%.

🔸 Lee is a professional optimist. If Ether goes up, so does his company. Listen to him, but do your own research.

🔸 They’ll stop accumulating, but they have no plans to sell. The coins are staked and generating income.

Bottom line: Ether’s biggest buyer has had its fill and is closing its wallet. What happens next depends on the rest of the market.

This is not investment advice. Take predictions from people with their own money on the line with a grain of salt.
