Nous Research has completed a $90 million funding round at a $1.5 billion valuation, according to The Wall Street Journal. According to ChainCatcher, the company plans to bring its open-source AI assistant tools to enterprise users.

Nous Research previously launched Hermes, a local and cloud-based AI agent with built-in capabilities including search, coding, and image understanding. The company said Hermes can also automatically learn and expand its abilities from user interactions.
