Trump family-backed World Liberty Financial (WLFI) announced plans to bring its USD1 dollar stablecoin into mainstream e-commerce payments. At a stablecoin session at Token2049 in Singapore, the company’s CEO, Zach Witkoff, revealed a partnership with payment service provider Mesh. USD1 holders will be able to make purchases directly through Mesh’s merchant network, with the service expected to launch this quarter. USD1, issued by BitGo and pegged to $1, has a market capitalization of about $4.45 billion, according to CoinGecko. Notably, in August, the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) approved WLFI’s conditional application to establish a national trust bank, which could issue dollar stablecoins and provide digital asset custody services in the future.#WLFI #USD1 #Stablecoins (Source: X)
