📈 397,563 new installations since the previous snapshot
BitTorrent’s latest reported cumulative client installations total 587,527,107.
Compared with the previously shared figure of 587,129,544, this represents an increase of 397,563 installations, assuming the same measurement methodology.
This difference makes the change in the overall figure more concrete. The cumulative total shows the scale of coverage achieved, while the increase between the two snapshots shows the newly recorded installations.
Without the corresponding reporting dates, this difference should not be described directly as daily or weekly growth.
Still, it offers a useful observation: the reported number of installations continues to rise.
Consistently tracking snapshots measured on the same basis helps the community better understand the pace at which software distribution is growing.
Milestones record scale; the changes between milestones show progress.
