Cardano's ADA has gained about 42% since September 16, rising from roughly $0.19 to $0.27 as positioning expanded faster than underlying dollar liquidity. According to NS3.AI, Santiment data showed open interest increased about 25% to $304 million as ADA rose about 10% from October 3 to October 5.
Cardano's stablecoin supply fell 0.74% over seven days to $66.8 million, even as decentralized exchange volume surged. ADA briefly traded above $0.28 on October 6 before facing rejection at the near-term breakout zone.
The report said a sustained breakout would require broader liquidity, while another rejection could leave leveraged longs vulnerable to liquidation if funding stays positive and open interest remains elevated.
