After getting liquidated three or four times, I realized I couldn't handle high-leverage futures or highly volatile altcoins. I tend to get carried away easily. With some altcoins, I might initially think I can manage 10x leverage, but after a string of losses and stop-outs, I increase the leverage and start trading at 20x or 50x. Then my losses grow, I hit stop-losses faster and faster, and eventually I start holding onto losing positions until I get liquidated.

Then I decided never to trade high-leverage futures again, and things improved noticeably. I found that before, I might deposit money and get liquidated within a few days or a week. Now I can last a month or two. Later, I gradually started making profits, but every now and then I still couldn't resist trading altcoins, opening a 20x position, and then getting out after losing a few dozen dollars. I realized that trading is a battle against your own human nature. Even when you're very likely to lose, you still want to take a gamble. Even when there are more stable methods with a higher win rate, you just can't resist.

Some people might wonder what the point is of trading with tens, hundreds, or thousands of dollars. I feel that if I can't control myself, then even giving me tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars would be no help—I would only lose more. There are so many people on the market trading with tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars who still lose it all, get liquidated, and leave. Don't complain that your starting capital is too small. If you have the ability, you can build up even with a small amount of capital.
