Pressure to show strong distributed paid-in capital, or DPI, is top of mind in private equity, according to Bloomberg, said Isik Guven Toktamis, JPMorgan's EMEA head of private equity investment banking.

She said 2026 has been a good year for sponsored M&A, with overall M&A volume up 40%, and added that the firm continues to have a very strong pipeline of exits. Guven Toktamis spoke with Bloomberg's Tom Mackenzie at the JPMorgan Tech Stars Conference in London on Oct. 6.
