Steps

Deposit with local payment methods

Open Binance and go to the deposit or buy section.

Choose your local currency and available payment method.

Enter the amount, review the details, and complete the payment confirmation.

Note: Available payment methods, limits, and processing times can vary by country and account status.

Use P2P

Open the P2P section in Binance.

Choose the fiat currency, payment method, and a suitable merchant.

Enter the amount, complete the payment, and follow the release process shown in the order.

Note: Make sure you follow the order instructions exactly and confirm payment only after the transfer has actually been made.

Deposit crypto from another wallet or platform

Log in to Binance and tap or click Deposit.

Choose Deposit Crypto.

Select the cryptocurrency you want to receive, such as BTC, ETH, or USDT.

Choose the deposit network carefully.

Copy the deposit address shown by Binance, or use the QR code.

Paste that address into the withdrawal page of the sending wallet or other platform.

Submit the transfer and wait for blockchain confirmations.

After the network confirms it, the funds are credited to your Binance account shortly after.

Wallet selection: Binance may let you choose where the deposit is credited, such as Spot Wallet or Funding Wallet.

Important tips

Match the token and network exactly

The asset must match the deposit you are making.

The network on Binance must be the same as the network used when sending.

Do not pick a different network just because the fee is lower.

Examples: ERC20 must be sent through ERC20, TRC20 through TRC20, and BTC through the Bitcoin network selected for that transfer.

Check whether a tag or memo is required

Some assets require an extra identifier such as a tag or memo.

If Binance shows that a memo is required, include it exactly as shown.

Without it, the deposit may not be credited correctly.

Arrival time depends on the blockchain

Crypto deposits are not instant in every case.

Processing time depends on the blockchain and current network traffic.

You can check the status in your transaction history after sending.

Fees and limits depend on the deposit path

For crypto deposits, network fees are usually determined by the sending platform and blockchain used.

For fiat or P2P routes, limits and possible fees depend on the payment channel and your region.

Review the final confirmation screen before completing the transaction.

First deposit checks may take longer

A first-time deposit can sometimes need extra review or more time to appear.

If the transfer shows as completed on-chain but is still pending, check your deposit history first.

If something does not match, such as address, network, or memo, do not repeat the transfer until you verify the details.

After the deposit arrives

Confirm the funds are in the correct wallet

Open your wallet balance and check whether the funds arrived in Spot Wallet or Funding Wallet.

If needed, you can move funds internally between supported wallet types inside Binance.

Review the deposit record

Open Transaction History or your wallet history page.

Check the asset, amount, network, and status.

This is the fastest way to confirm whether the transfer is complete or still waiting for confirmations.
