365 days without a new ATH: anomaly or calm before the storm? ⏳

Exactly one year ago, $BTC reached its previous all-time high. We’ve gone 365 days without new peaks, and doubt is starting to creep in among retail investors.

• 2014–2017: 1180 days

• 2017–2020: 1094 days

• 2021–2024: 849 days

• 2026: ???

BETKOHTPOL:

The logic of previous years suggested that institutional capital and ETFs should accelerate cycles by shortening the accumulation period. But now we’re seeing the opposite: the market seems stuck in a massive redistribution phase.

A shift in the nature of liquidity: The market has grown. Moving a market cap worth trillions of dollars requires “smart money” to spend considerably more time accumulating positions.

Macroeconomic pressure: High interest rates and the restrictive monetary policies of central banks around the world are creating a strong headwind for the first time in Bitcoin’s history.

Weak hands get shaken out: The longer $BTC stays range-bound without hitting new highs, the more the crowd loses interest and moves into hype-driven altcoins, leaving the leading cryptocurrency to the whales.

What figure will your analysis show for 2026? Are we expecting a new all-time high this quarter, or are we heading into a prolonged lull?
