North Korean hacker group + Chinese money-laundering gang = 40% of the missile budget!!

On-chain bounty hunter ZachXBT has just exposed the full North Korean crime pipeline, with the ultimate mastermind pointing straight to the strongest ‘80s-born boss on the planet: Kim 😳🤫

ZachXBT used $350,000 as bait, posing as a token-launch scammer to infiltrate a Chinese gang that launders money for North Korean hackers. He stayed undercover for several weeks and discovered that the big boss behind it all might be Kim. The hackers are called Lazarus, and they’re controlled by North Korea’s intelligence agency.

Word is, 40% of the money North Korea uses to build nuclear bombs and missiles comes from this operation!

He kept this under wraps for a year and a half, only going public on October 5, 2026. Members of the gang told him themselves that they laundered pretty much all of the $1.5 billion stolen from the exchange Bybit. The more than $300 million stolen from Bitget may also be connected. This could be the biggest heist in history—more damn money than the $1 billion Saddam hauled out of Iraq’s central bank back in the day.

And this money launderer had a really loose tongue. He’d spill which blockchain North Korean money was heading to the next day, and how many bitcoins Kim had released that day. Even crazier, he treated Zach like a friend, chatting with him whenever he had the chance and warning him to watch out because there are so many scammers around these days. He even tried to recruit him to help launder money for North Korea.

Zach followed the clues, and eventually traced it straight back to the Kim family. Several recent cryptocurrency thefts—including the more than $300 million stolen from Bitget—are all linked to this gang. I’ve pieced together the evidence and made a full video about it. Check it out, because this is even more undercover than Infernal Affairs!!

Salute to every hero protecting the crypto industry.$BTC
