$PONS This +9% bullish candle looks more like a technical bounce after a 45% drop when viewed in the context of the full 30-day trend. The high-volume sell-off on October 2 slammed the price straight from 0.5 to 0.44, followed by three days of low-volume drift down to 0.38. Today's rise to 0.407 hasn't even reached the lower edge of the previous high-volume trading zone.

What I'm paying more attention to is volume. Both were rebounds, but the one on September 23 came with 103M in volume, while today saw only 45M—exactly half as much. What does that tell us? Buying support from the bulls is weakening, and the move consists more of contract liquidations and short covering. A market-cap rank of #158 puts it on the fringes of the mainstream radar. The remaining participants are either convinced there's alpha here or are just short-term traders looking to play an oversold bounce. With the price still 58% below its ATH, a substantial concentration of bagholders is sitting above 0.6, and every rebound will run into selling pressure from those looking to break even.

The question now is whether volume can gradually pick up over the next 1–2 days, now that the price has reclaimed the psychologically important 0.4 level. That will determine whether it returns to the 0.37 consolidation zone to build strength, or ends up sinking below 0.35 in search of support. After all, real support isn't a moving average—it's the volume of buyers willing to step in at this level. The contradiction in the price action is that the faster the rebound loses room to run, the more it suggests the selling pressure hasn't run its course.
