Mason Nystrom, a former analyst at Messari, announced on X that he has officially joined Multicoin Capital as an investment partner.

Before joining Multicoin Capital, Nystrom worked at Pantera Capital and Variant Fund. He also has experience at ConsenSys and Messari, along with extensive research into stablecoins, tokenization, and consumer crypto applications.

Nystrom said he will focus his venture investments on three areas: stablecoins, consumer applications, and financial infrastructure.
