The conference kicked off, and the market took a brutal hit this morning, plunging $2,000. Were all the market makers busy heading off to the conference?
I didn’t expect the drop to come at this time. I reckon we probably won’t see much of a rally for a while. The rate-hike meeting at the end of the month and the midterm elections are both major potential headwinds.

Current market prices: BTC is around 84,000 and ETH around 2,600. Both are at round-number levels that could offer some support. Let’s see if they can hold here.

Going forward, Brother Yu’s strategy will focus mainly on shorting rallies.

Spot and MEME market
On the spot side, yesterday’s good news that OKX completed a fundraising round at a $25 billion valuation gave
OKB a boost. It’s currently quoted at $134. In the end, OKB’s price even outperformed SOL.
Brother Yu has finally managed to break even and make a tiny bit of profit, too. I’m not selling OKB in the short term—holding on for now!
After the market’s latest pullback, altcoins have all pulled back in sync. Don’t open any new positions in the short term; save your ammo. But seriously, the C2C price has hit 6.67—what the hell, that’s ridiculous. The U is almost a dollar cheaper now.

There’s been some interesting action in the National Day MEME market. Last year, the Binance Life crew thought this year’s
GM and Lie Down and Win
would make a comeback. Dream on.
Big Sis also said yesterday that she won’t give any attention to copycat MEME coins. In other words, MEME coins associated with the Two Saints will have less and less upside from now on.
Coins like GM and Lie Down and Win are teaching Brother Yu a lesson.
