The reason was that head coach Jesus had broken his promises twice: first, he said Ronaldo would come on as a substitute for 30 minutes against Norway, but then kept him on the bench for the entire match; second, they had agreed on what to say at the press conference, but the coach didn’t stick to the agreement.
