I woke up to see the market crashing and hurriedly bought a few coins. But when the market is falling, what you should really do is look for coins that aren’t falling or are falling less. Here are the projects I follow that haven’t fallen much or have fallen less.
Not falling
$ORCA : During the last altcoin rally, it stayed steadily around 1.7. It kept hovering near 1.7 regardless of whether the broader altcoin market was going up or down. In the past couple of days, it’s started climbing the gainers’ rankings—probably because it’s being managed pretty well.
$龙虾 : I checked the net inflow data last night. Both futures and spot were seeing outflows, but the price was rising. I figured the market maker was closing short positions, and sure enough, when I checked this morning, it had risen again.
$BR : The market maker has been active with this one over the past couple of days, so it definitely won’t move with the broader market. My monitoring alerts flagged it as leaning bullish several times yesterday.
Fell along with the market, but less than BTC and recovered quickly
$pump: It’s been relatively strong lately. It’s currently pulling back, but after falling with the market, it also recovers fairly quickly.
$aia: Feels like it’s in an accumulation phase, but even if that’s the case, it’ll probably keep shaking out holders for a long time.
$power: Another coin with a market maker who has a high degree of control. It started stabilizing a bit the day before yesterday. Just now, when the broader market fell, it recovered fairly quickly, but open interest hasn’t picked up.
$opn: After the KOLs’ complaints over the past few days, it fell very little in today’s sharp drop and recovered quickly. Trading volume also picked up a bit. Not sure if retail investors are buying, or if there’s...
$mubarak: It had a sharp wick down, but immediately recovered.
$tut: Recovered relatively quickly, and open interest is gradually increasing.
