Binance TON 7-Day Average Deposit Falls to 178 TON, Lowest Since July 2
Binance received 8.07M TON in the seven days to Oct 5, down 77% from 35.67M the week before.
Inflow transactions rose 27% to 45,259 over the same period.
The 7-day average deposit fell to 178 TON from 999 TON.
The prior week includes a single 17.44M TON inflow on Sep 24. Without it, the average deposit was still 599 TON. Monday’s Oct 5 inflow of 0.68M TON sat in the 17th percentile of the past 90 days.
Against a longer baseline, 178 TON is in the 1st percentile of the past 90 days but only the 39th since Dec 2023. The 30-day average deposit (457 TON) is still in the 80th percentile. This is a drop from an elevated level, not a historical extreme.
Withdrawals moved less sharply. Outflow fell from 34.24M to 10.75M TON, and the average withdrawal fell from 901 to 285 TON. Withdrawal transactions were nearly flat (37,717 vs 37,982). That withdrawal size is the lowest only since Sep 20.
The slowdown comes as markets position ahead of US September CPI data.
The 30-day netflow of −13.31M TON needs context: −13.01M came from Sep 6 alone. The four |z|>2 days net to −14.83M, while the other 26 days net to +1.51M. The past week’s −2.68M contains no outlier day.
One candidate explanation, unverified: the Sep 23–25 sequence (−4.86M, +12.08M, −9.04M) resembles internal movement with a wallet outside the tracked addresses.
Transaction counts rose while deposit size compressed. This suggests large holders stepped back from sending TON to Binance while smaller transfers continued. That may create conditions for a sharper flow move once large tickets return, with the direction set by the side they appear on first.
“For now, the clearest reading is: TON still moves through Binance, but large deposits have gone quiet.”
